Lupe knows that strong communities are built person by person.
Lupe Gomez has dedicated her career to helping people find opportunity and navigate systems that too often feel out of reach. Her work has taken her from college-access programs to healthcare case management and local public service—always with the same purpose: listen closely, solve real problems, and leave the door wider for the next person.
With a bachelor’s degree in sociology from UC Riverside and an MBA from the University of Redlands, Lupe pairs compassion with the practical skills needed to build sustainable programs and hold institutions accountable. The University of Redlands later highlighted her as an alumna whose community-centered leadership has expanded access across the Inland Empire.

Helping the next generation find its voice.
Lupe has organized civic workshops with the City of Perris Youth Advisory Committee and mentored emerging professionals. That work reflects a conviction she carries into public service: young people should not have to leave Perris to find leadership, belonging, or opportunity.

A 61st Assembly District Woman of Distinction.
In the 2020–21 Women of Distinction celebration, Assemblymember José Medina recognized Lupe among 13 women whose work made an impact in their communities. The honor reflects years of service in education, healthcare, and the Inland Empire—not a single moment, but a sustained record of showing up.
